Assistant Compliance Manager-Risk and Compliance Department

Our client is a leading life insurance. They serve individual and institutional clients from a variety of portfolios.

  • Perform compliance review and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of controls to determine the accuracy of data and the efficiency and security of information systems and operational processes;
  • Monitor compliance with the organization's information security, sales practices and operational policies and procedures among employees and refer problems to appropriate functional managers or administrators for necessary follow-up actions;
  • Manage the Incident Reporting program to ensure the prevention, detection, containment, correction of security & data breaches and remediation of non-compliance of regulatory and misconduct matters;
  • Coordinate the activities which include system development, change management and new technology projects with the IT team & functional users to ensure unforeseen problems can be addressed in a timely and controlled manner;
  • Develop compliance program activities including issue management, security monitoring and control assessment; and
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet any ad-hoc requirements.

  • Degree holder in an IT-related discipline or business
  • Professional related certification in IT (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM ) are preferable
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience (e.g. audit, IT governance/ control, compliance etc.)
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work independently with minimum guidance as well as a team player
  • Strong command of written and spoken Chinese and English
